Galatasaray are considering a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga while Lokomotiv attacking midfielder Aleksey Batrakov has reportedly agreed to join the Istanbul club.
The potential moves could see the two midfielders become team-mates in Turkey, although the reports do not indicate that either transfer has yet been completed.
According to The Touchline, citing Turkish outlet Fotomac, Galatasaray are examining the possibility of bringing Camavinga to the club on loan from Real Madrid. The French international is understood to be among the Istanbul side’s targets as they assess their options in the transfer market.
The interest in Camavinga comes alongside reports that Batrakov has given his consent to a transfer to Galatasaray. Batrakov plays as an attacking midfielder for Lokomotiv, and his reported agreement has placed him among the players the Turkish club could add to their squad.
Should both deals progress, Batrakov and Camavinga would link up at Galatasaray despite arriving from different clubs and in very different circumstances. Batrakov is being considered as an attacking midfield option, while Camavinga’s possible arrival would give the club another route to strengthen its midfield.
The reports have not stated whether Galatasaray’s interest in Camavinga has advanced beyond an initial consideration or whether negotiations with Real Madrid have begun. The same uncertainty surrounds the final completion of Batrakov’s proposed move, with the available information describing his approval rather than confirming an official transfer.
Earlier reports had questioned Camavinga’s prospects at Real Madrid under manager Jose Mourinho. Those reports suggested that the 23-year-old midfielder’s future at the Spanish club was uncertain, a situation that has contributed to speculation about a possible temporary move away from the Bernabeu.
Camavinga’s market value is estimated at 50m euros by Transfermarkt. A loan would allow Galatasaray to pursue the midfielder without immediately committing to a permanent transfer, although no terms for a potential agreement have been reported.
For now, Galatasaray are understood to be pursuing more than one midfield option. Batrakov’s reported willingness to move has put him on course for a possible switch to the club, while Camavinga remains a separate target whose availability could depend on Real Madrid’s decision.
The prospect of the pair becoming team-mates is therefore dependent on both transfers being completed. At present, Batrakov’s reported consent and Galatasaray’s interest in a loan deal for Camavinga are the key developments behind the emerging story.
