Former Nigeria national football team striker Michael Eneramo has died at the age of 40 after reportedly suffering a heart attack during training in Kaduna.
According to reports, Eneramo collapsed on Friday morning while training, with efforts to revive him proving unsuccessful. His sudden death has prompted tributes from across the Nigerian football community, where he is remembered for his contributions both domestically and internationally.
Eneramo earned 10 caps for Nigeria, scoring three goals during his time with the Super Eagles. Although his international appearances were limited, he was regarded as a committed forward who contributed when called upon.

The striker spent a significant portion of his playing career in Turkey, featuring for several clubs including Sivasspor, Beşiktaş, Karabükspor, Istanbul Başakşehir, and Manisaspor. His time in Turkey established him as a well-travelled forward with experience at different levels of the game.
