Egypt’s opponents Belgium name their 2026 FIFA World Cup squad

Belgium head coach Rudi Garcia has officially announced Belgium’s final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as the Red Devils prepare for the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The squad is led by experienced stars including Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois, who remain central figures in Belgium’s ambitions heading into the competition.

Belgium have been drawn in Group G alongside Egypt national football team, Iran national football team and New Zealand national football team.

The squad announcement also included several notable omissions, with attackers Loïs Openda and midfielder Roméo Lavia both left out of the final selection.
