Portugal-Angola winger Edgar Pacheco has joined Atletico CP on a free transfer from Luxembourg side Differdange 03. The 26-year-old left-sided attacker has agreed a deal that will keep him with the Liga 3 club until 30 June 2027.
Pacheco returns to Portuguese football after a successful spell in Luxembourg, where he lifted the domestic cup with Differdange in the 2025-26 season. He moves to Atletico CP with a current market value of €100,000.
Born in Seixal and comfortable operating as a left winger on his right foot, Pacheco previously played in Bulgaria with Cherno More Varna, where he finished as Bulgarian league runner-up in 2024. Before moving abroad, he had progressed through the Portuguese system with Real SC and Belenenses, later representing B SAD at senior level.
His switch to Differdange in 2025 came after a brief period without a club, and he went on to add European qualifying experience to his CV, being registered for UEFA Conference League qualifying and the Luxembourg Coupe de la Ligue in the 2026-27 campaign.
Pacheco’s arrival gives Atletico CP an experienced wide option with a background in both Portuguese football and foreign top-flight competition, signed on a permanent deal through to the end of the 2026-27 season.
