Italy-Nigeria winger Destiny Egharevba has joined Picerno from Cittadella, signing a contract with the Serie C club until 30 June 2028. The 23-year-old right-sided attacker makes the switch within the Italian third tier, moving from Serie C – Girone A to Serie C – Girone C.
Egharevba arrives at Picerno after a brief spell with Cittadella, who took him on a free transfer from Renate in July 2025. He spent part of last season on loan at Giugliano before returning to Cittadella at the end of the campaign, and now departs on a permanent basis to continue his career in the south.
Born in Verona and comfortable operating on the right wing, the 1.83m forward has built up extensive Serie C experience despite his age. Across his time in the division’s three groups he has clocked up more than 80 league appearances, including goal-scoring spells in Girone C and regular minutes in Girone B and Girone A.
Egharevba first emerged in the youth ranks at Chievo before moving to Fiorentina’s academy, where he featured in both Primavera 1 and Primavera 2 and impressed in youth cup competitions. Loan stints with Vis Pesaro, Fiorenzuola, Recanatese and Casertana then provided his first sustained exposure to senior football.
Picerno’s new signing, who is right-footed and valued at around €175,000 at the time of the move, links up with his latest club ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. His deal with Picerno runs through to the summer of 2028, confirming a long-term commitment in Serie C.
