Pepin Machin: Casarano eye move for Vis Pesaro attacking midfielder Pepin Machin

Equatorial Guinea and Spain midfielder Pepin Machin is being linked with a move from Vis Pesaro to Serie C side Casarano as the clubs explore a deal ahead of the new campaign.

The 29-year-old attacking midfielder, who is under contract with Vis Pesaro until 30 June 2027, has emerged as a target for Casarano as they look to add proven experience in the final third. Any agreement would require Vis Pesaro to sanction an exit less than a year after bringing him in.

Machin joined Vis Pesaro on 31 October 2025 after a brief spell without a club, arriving with a reputation built largely in Italy’s second tier. He has made 135 appearances in Serie B, scoring 17 goals and contributing 13 assists, as well as featuring in Serie A and the Coppa Italia earlier in his career.

Born in Bata in 1996 and standing at 1.84m, Machin operates primarily as an attacking midfielder and is right-footed. His current market valuation of around €200,000 is significantly below the €2.6 million peak he reached while on the books of Monza and Parma, a drop that could make him a financially accessible option for Casarano.

Machin was part of the Roma youth side that won the Italian Primavera championship and later helped Monza to the Serie C – A title in 2019–20, adding promotion-winning experience to his profile. For now, he remains a Vis Pesaro player with a year gone on a long-term deal, leaving Casarano needing to find an agreement with the Serie C – B club to turn their interest into a formal bid.
