Daniel Arcilesi: Italy-Ghana midfielder signs for Chersonissos on free transfer from Almyros Gaziou

Italy-Ghana midfielder Daniel Arcilesi has joined Greek side Chersonissos on a free transfer from Almyros Gaziou. The 30-year-old central midfielder has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 after completing his move on 25 July 2026.

Arcilesi, who was born in Palermo and stands at 1.78m, arrives to strengthen the centre of the Chersonissos midfield. A naturally left-footed player, he is expected to operate in his preferred central role as the club reshape their squad for the new campaign.

The transfer keeps Arcilesi in Greece, where he had been on the books of Almyros Gaziou before deciding to make the switch. His free-agent status allowed Chersonissos to secure the move without a transfer fee, finalising the agreement shortly before the start of the season.

Capable of linking play through the middle of the pitch, Arcilesi brings senior experience to his new club in both defensive and attacking phases from central areas. His dual Italy-Ghana nationality adds further international flavour to a Chersonissos side looking to build a stable core.

Arcilesi is now tied to Chersonissos until the summer of 2027 after completing his free transfer from Almyros Gaziou.
