Crystal Palace v Liverpool: Reds tipped to bounce back after Arsenal defeat

Liverpool will look to return to winning ways when they visit Crystal Palace on Sunday, 8 November 2026, in the 10th round of the Premier League.

Liverpool’s 0-1 home defeat by Arsenal in their previous league fixture ended a five-match winning run in all competitions. However, they have suffered only two setbacks in the Premier League this season, alongside four victories and three draws.

Those results have left Andoni Iraola’s side fifth in the table on 15 points. Liverpool are also regarded as the favourites by bookmakers ahead of the meeting at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are struggling near the bottom of the standings. After nine matches, they sit 18th and remain in the relegation zone with seven points.

The London club have collected those points from two wins and one draw, while losing their other six league games. Palace have won only one of their past six matches, which adds to the pressure on the team before Liverpool’s visit.

The head-to-head record also favours the visitors. The clubs have met 71 times, with Crystal Palace winning 17 of those matches and Liverpool claiming 39 victories. The remaining 15 encounters ended in draws.

Liverpool have recorded five wins in their last six matches, despite their recent loss to Arsenal, and will aim to use that run as a platform to challenge Palace.

The prediction is that Liverpool will respond positively to the Arsenal setback and beat a Crystal Palace side that has endured a difficult start to the campaign.
