Matvey Safonov watches Karen Khachanov at Paris Masters

Paris Saint-Germain and Russia goalkeeper Matvey Safonov attended Karen Khachanov’s match at the ATP-1000 tournament in Paris.

The Telegram channel Bolshe! posted a photograph of Safonov at the match with his wife, Marina.

Khachanov was knocked out in the opening stages after losing 6-4, 6-4 to Portugal’s Nuno Borges. The result meant he did not reach the third round.

Two other Russian players had already been eliminated from the tournament: Andrey Rublev and Russia’s top-ranked player, Daniil Medvedev.

Before attending the tennis, Safonov posted on his Telegram channel about Paris Saint-Germain’s recent meeting with Villarreal, noting that the victory had produced a tennis-style scoreline of 6-0.
