French-Malian midfielder Soungoutou Magassa is being linked with a move from West Ham to Crystal Palace, with the 22-year-old currently contracted to the Championship club until June 2031.
Magassa joined West Ham from Monaco on 29 August 2025 in a deal worth €17m. He has yet to make an appearance for the club in the 2026-27 Championship campaign, and has also not featured in the EFL Cup this season.
The defensive midfielder’s current market value is listed at €17m, matching the fee West Ham paid for him last summer. He arrived in England after progressing through Monaco’s academy, having joined the French club’s youth system from Paris 13 in 2018.
Palace are competing in the Premier League, while West Ham are currently in the Championship. Magassa has made no recorded appearances, goals or assists in either competition during the current campaign.
There is no indication that a deal has been agreed, and the rumour remains at the stage of a reported link between the clubs. Magassa’s long-term contract means West Ham retain him until 30 June 2031.
