Como target Moise Kean after agreeing terms on contract running to 2031

Como have reached an agreement with Fiorentina forward Moise Kean over the terms of a long-term contract, according to Italian transfer insider Nicolo Schira.

The proposed deal would keep the 26-year-old at Como until 2031, although the move is not yet complete. Como’s board is expected to make an offer of €40m to Fiorentina in the near future in an attempt to secure the striker’s transfer.

Kean remains under contract with Fiorentina, who would have to accept the bid before the move could go ahead. The reported agreement between the player and Como represents an important step in the negotiations, but the two clubs still need to reach an agreement over the fee.

Schira reported the development on social media, saying that discussions had taken place between the parties and that terms had been agreed for a long-term contract.

Kean played 26 matches in the most recent Italian championship campaign. He scored eight goals, including two penalties, and provided one assist. The forward also received four yellow cards during the season.

The proposed €40m offer would make Kean one of the most significant potential additions to Como’s squad. However, Fiorentina’s response will determine whether the agreement reached with the player can be converted into a completed transfer.

For now, the information concerns an expected bid rather than a confirmed deal between the clubs. Como are preparing to approach Fiorentina, while Kean has reportedly agreed the length and terms of his prospective contract with the club.

Kean’s reported move would bring an end to his time as a Fiorentina player if the negotiations are completed successfully. The striker’s contribution in the Italian championship included eight goals and one assist from his 26 appearances, with two of those goals coming from the penalty spot.

The next stage of the process is therefore the formal offer from Como to Fiorentina. The Italian club are expected to propose €40m for the transfer of the 26-year-old forward, following the reported agreement over a contract through 2031.
