Burkina Faso goalkeeper Hervé Koffi says joining Belgian champions Union Saint-Gilloise represents an important step in his career as he prepares for a new challenge that includes European football.
The 29-year-old has joined Union Saint-Gilloise on loan from French club RC Lens until the end of the season, with the move giving him an opportunity to compete in the Champions League while seeking more regular playing time.
