Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has undergone a scan after suffering an injury during yesterday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
A precise diagnosis has not yet been confirmed, according to Now Arsenal, but there are several possible outcomes.
The most favourable scenario would be a grade-one strain, which could keep Saka out for two weeks. A grade-two tear would mean a longer recovery, with the Arsenal forward potentially sidelined until Christmas.
A grade-three tear is considered unlikely because Saka was able to leave the pitch without assistance or crutches.
Saka was injured during the first half of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich. The problem occurred when he stretched his leg to reach the ball before striking it. He was unable to continue and was substituted.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said there were concerns over Saka’s injury.
