Bayern Munich are exploring the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, with the German champions reportedly making enquiries about the conditions of a potential transfer for the 18-year-old Senegal international.
According to Nicolo Schira, Mbaye has attracted the attention of Bayern’s recruitment team, who are assessing his situation before deciding whether to make a formal approach.
Mbaye considering PSG exit
Mbaye is reportedly open to leaving PSG this summer as he looks for greater opportunities at senior level.
The teenager has struggled to secure regular first-team football in Paris and is understood to be considering a move that could provide him with more playing time and a clearer pathway for his development.
Bayern are now gathering information on the player’s availability, including the financial and sporting conditions that would be involved in a potential deal.
At this stage, however, the Bundesliga club’s interest remains exploratory and no formal offer has been made.
PSG hold strong position
Mbaye remains under contract with PSG until June 2028, giving the French club significant leverage should Bayern decide to pursue the transfer.
His current market value is estimated at €30 million, according to Transfermarkt, although PSG’s valuation could ultimately determine whether negotiations progress.
The Senegal international is also reportedly earning around €910,000 per year in France.
