Senegal forward Bamba Dieng, currently without a club after leaving FC Lorient, is being linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Amed SK.
The 26-year-old centre-forward became a free agent on 1 July following the end of his spell at Lorient and is understood to be on the shortlist as Amed SK look to add proven top-flight experience to their attack. Dieng’s current market valuation stands at around €15 million, but his contractual status would allow any move to be completed without a transfer fee.
Dieng has accumulated more than 100 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 28 goals and adding eight assists in the French top flight. He also impressed in domestic cup competition last season, hitting five goals in three Coupe de France outings. His performances in France helped him earn a place in Senegal’s World Cup 2026 squad, where he made a brief appearance at the tournament.
The Pikine-born striker first established himself in Europe with Marseille before joining Lorient in a €7m deal in January 2023. He later spent time on loan at Angers, returning to Lorient and helping them secure the French second-tier title in the 2024-25 campaign.
Dieng was part of Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad in 2022, adding international pedigree to his profile as talks over his future continue. For now, he remains unattached and free to negotiate with interested clubs, with Amed SK among those exploring a potential deal.
