AS FAR step up preparations ahead of Berkane showdown

AS FAR have resumed training as they intensify preparations for their decisive CAF Champions League semi-final second leg against RS Berkane.

The Rabat-based side returned to action on Monday after being granted a short rest by the technical staff following their first-leg victory.

Strong First-Leg Advantage

AS FAR head into the return fixture with confidence after securing a commanding 2–0 win in the first leg, putting them in a strong position to reach the final of Africa’s premier club competition.

The result has lifted morale within the squad, but there remains a clear understanding that the job is only half done.

Focus on Discipline and Game Management

With qualification within reach, the coaching staff have reportedly adjusted training sessions to focus on tactical discipline and game management.

The emphasis is on maintaining structure under pressure, especially with the expectation of an intense and hostile atmosphere in Berkane.

All to Play for in the Second Leg

The return leg is set for Saturday at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, where RS Berkane will look to overturn the deficit in front of their home supporters.

AS FAR, meanwhile, will aim to protect their advantage and secure a place in the final, knowing that a composed and disciplined performance could see them take a significant step toward continental glory.
