Arsenal are monitoring Hull City’s Algeria winger Bachir Belloumi, with the London club reportedly impressed by his potential and his ability to adapt to English football.
The interest has been reported by Oussama Benamara, who says Arsenal are looking for a talented player capable of taking the next step in his career and establishing himself in the Premier League.
Hull City would not necessarily block a transfer if Belloumi made it clear that he wanted to leave. The potential fee is understood to be between 28.5 and 40 million euros.
Arsenal are hoping to negotiate a reasonable price, similar to the deal that brought Leandro Trossard from Brighton in January 2023 for about 25 million pounds.
However, there has been no formal approach or official request from Arsenal for Belloumi at this stage. The proposed move therefore remains at the level of reported interest rather than an advanced transfer negotiation.
Belloumi, 24, is under contract with Hull City until 2029. His market value is estimated at 18 million euros by Transfermarkt, meaning a move to Arsenal could represent a significant stage in his career.
The winger’s future will depend on whether Arsenal’s interest develops further and on the player’s own intentions regarding a possible departure from Hull City.
Arsenal are due to play Liverpool in their ninth match of the English championship.
