Arsenal have renewed their interest in Sevilla midfielder Lucien Agoume, with the 24-year-old reportedly back on the club’s radar after being monitored during the summer of 2025.
According to Ficherio, the Gunners have recently sent scouts to watch Agoume as they continue to assess his suitability for Mikel Arteta’s midfield.
Arsenal are yet to make a formal approach for the France-born midfielder, instead seeking a closer assessment of his qualities before deciding whether to pursue a deal.
Agoume remains under contract with Sevilla until June 2028 and is valued at around €15 million by Transfermarkt. The midfielder, who is of Cameroonian origin, is entering a key stage of his career and is expected to consider his next move carefully.
Playing time could be a major factor in any decision. A move to Arsenal would likely depend on whether Agoume receives sufficient assurances over his role, given the competition for places in the Gunners’ midfield.
Arsenal are not alone in monitoring the situation, with Fulham also reportedly interested in the Sevilla player and potentially capable of making an approach in the coming months.
Sevilla would reportedly be open to selling Agoume if they receive an offer that meets their valuation. However, Arsenal’s renewed interest has not yet developed into a concrete proposal.
The London club could therefore face a challenge in convincing Agoume that a move to the Emirates would provide him with enough opportunities to continue his development.
