Amine El Ouaad: Moroccan goalkeeper joins KACM Marrakech on free transfer from Ittihad Tanger

Moroccan goalkeeper Amine El Ouaad has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from Botola Pro Inwi rivals Ittihad Tanger. The 30-year-old moves within Morocco’s top flight as KACM strengthen their options in goal ahead of the new campaign.

El Ouaad, a specialist between the posts, arrives from a side that also competed in the Botola Pro Inwi, meaning he is already familiar with the demands and style of the division. His switch to Marrakech comes without a transfer fee after the end of his spell at Ittihad Tanger.

The move sees KACM add an experienced domestic goalkeeper at an age where many keepers are considered to be entering their peak years. El Ouaad’s recent performances have been valued around €400,000, underlining the calibre of player KACM have acquired without paying a fee.

Having been part of Ittihad Tanger’s squad in Morocco’s top tier, El Ouaad now faces a fresh challenge in Marrakech, where competition for the starting spot in goal is expected to be strong. His knowledge of the league and conditions should allow him to adapt quickly to his new surroundings.

The transfer was completed on 21 July 2026, confirming El Ouaad’s permanent move to KACM Marrakech as a free agent.
