Moroccan midfielder Abdellah Haimoud has completed a free transfer to KACM Marrakech after leaving Libyan Premier League side Al-Ta’awon.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Botola Pro Inwi club, keeping him at KACM until 30 June 2028 as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Return to Moroccan football
Haimoud returns to Moroccan football after a spell in Libya, where he made 12 league appearances for Al-Ta’awon, registering one assist.
The Casablanca-born midfielder is expected to add energy, experience and creativity to KACM’s midfield as the club prepares for both domestic and continental challenges.
Proven Botola performer
Before moving abroad, Haimoud established himself as one of the Botola Pro’s reliable midfielders during his time with Wydad Casablanca.
He made 67 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists, while accumulating more than 3,000 minutes of top-flight football.
His experience at the highest level of Moroccan football is expected to be a valuable asset for KACM.
Continental experience and silverware
Haimoud also arrives with considerable experience in African club competitions.
He has made 23 CAF Champions League appearances and featured in the African Football League, giving him valuable exposure to high-level continental football.
During his time with Wydad, he won the CAF Champions League and lifted the Botola Pro title twice, playing his part in the club’s successful 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns.
Currently valued at €300,000, Haimoud joins KACM on a permanent free transfer and will now look to play a key role as the club aims to compete strongly in the coming seasons.
