Morocco midfielder Abdellah Haimoud has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from Libyan Premier League side Al-Ta’awon. The 25-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract with the Botola Pro Inwi club until 30 June 2028.
Casablanca-born Haimoud, who stands at 1.72m and is right-footed, returns to Moroccan football after a spell in Libya, where he made 12 league appearances and registered one assist for Al-Ta’awon. His move adds further experience to KACM’s midfield ahead of the new domestic campaign.
Haimoud arrives with a strong track record in Morocco’s top flight, having previously played in the Botola Pro Inwi and made 67 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists. Across those matches he amassed more than 3,000 minutes, underlining his experience at this level.
He has also featured prominently in continental competition, with 23 outings in the CAF Champions League and further minutes in the African Football League, giving him exposure to high-intensity knockout football.
At club level, Haimoud’s honours include winning the CAF Champions League once in 2021-22 with Wydad Casablanca, as well as two Moroccan league titles with the same club in 2020-21 and 2021-22. Those achievements mark him out as one of the more decorated domestic midfielders of his age group.
Haimoud’s transfer to KACM Marrakech, completed as a free move from Al-Ta’awon, will keep him under contract with the Moroccan side until summer 2028.
