Algerian midfielder Akram Bouras is currently with Levski Sofia and has emerged as a rumoured target for AEK Athens, with the Greek club linked with a move for the 24-year-old central midfielder.
Bouras joined Levski from MC Alger on 30 August 2025 in a deal worth €350,000 and helped the Sofia club win the Bulgarian championship in his first season. He remains under contract until 30 June 2028.
The midfielder has made a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign, appearing in both of Levski’s efbet Liga matches and scoring once, while also featuring three times in Champions League qualifying. He has started all of his league appearances and played 94% of the available minutes in the competition.
Bouras previously won four Algerian league titles, three with CR Belouizdad and one with MC Alger, before moving to Bulgaria. He also won the Algerian Cup with CR Belouizdad and the Algerian Super Cup with MC Alger.
The reported interest from AEK comes as Bouras continues his second season at Levski, where his current deal leaves the Bulgarian champions in a strong contractual position. No transfer fee or probability has been established for a possible move to the Athens club.
