Former Ivory Coast international Ahmed Ouattara has backed Seko Fofana’s decision to retire from international football, describing the midfielder’s contribution to the Elephants as significant.
Fofana, 31, has brought his international career with Ivory Coast to an end after playing an important role in the team’s recent success, including their triumph at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
