Egyptian left-back Abdallah Gomaa has joined La Viena FC after a spell without a club. The 30-year-old defender arrives as a free agent and becomes the latest addition to the Egyptian side’s squad.
Gomaa, who specialises on the left side of defence, had been unattached before agreeing his move to La Viena FC. His signing gives the club an experienced option at full-back as they continue to shape their squad for upcoming competitions.
Now 30, Gomaa is entering what is typically considered a peak period for defenders, and La Viena FC will look to draw on his know-how and positional discipline on the flank. His versatility in operating along the left side is expected to offer tactical flexibility to his new coaching staff.
