Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has defended goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after his performances in the team’s recent matches, saying that “mistakes are part of the season”.
Donnarumma has played 12 matches in all competitions this season. The Italy goalkeeper has conceded 17 goals and kept four clean sheets.
Manchester City will host Brighton in the fourth round of the English League Cup on 28 October. Kick-off is scheduled for 22:30 Moscow time.
