Corum FK land Mohamed Diomande in €5.6m move from Rangers

Ivorian-Ghanaian midfielder Mohamed Diomande has joined Turkish club Corum FK from Rangers in a €5.6m permanent transfer, becoming one of the latest arrivals at the Super Lig side. The 24-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract running until 30 June 2029.

Diomande moves to Turkey after two-and-a-half years with Rangers, who signed him from Danish club Nordsjaelland in July 2024 for €5m. He initially joined the Scottish club on loan in January 2024 before the move was made permanent at the end of that season.

The midfielder began the 2026-27 campaign in Scotland and made one appearance in the Premiership before completing his switch. He also started once in Europa League qualifying, playing the full 90 minutes in both matches. Across those two appearances, he did not score or provide an assist.

Born in Yopougon, Diomande is listed as holding Ivorian and Ghanaian nationality. He stands 1.83m tall and is naturally left-footed, with central midfield identified as his preferred position.

His move to Rangers followed a spell at Nordsjaelland, where he had first arrived from the Right to Dream academy in January 2020 on a free transfer. He spent the early part of his senior career in Denmark before his temporary move to Scotland in 2024.

Diomande joins Corum FK with a current market value of €7m and a contract that keeps him at the club until the summer of 2029. The transfer from Rangers was completed on 12 August 2026 for €5.6m.
