Nigerian teenager Musa Malik, a left winger at Ikorodu City, has been linked with a move to Belgian side Zulte Waregem.
The 17-year-old currently plays for Ikorodu City in Nigeria’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), while Zulte Waregem compete in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. The reported interest places Malik among the young players being considered for a move from Nigerian domestic football to Europe.
Malik’s listed market value is €75,000. His contractual situation may also be relevant, with his agreement at Ikorodu City recorded as expiring on 30 June 2026.
The link between the two clubs was reported on 5 August 2026, but there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed or that formal terms have been completed. Zulte Waregem’s interest therefore remains at the rumour stage.
Malik’s profile is limited to his role as a left winger and his age, with no further performance or international details available to establish the extent of his first-team involvement at Ikorodu City. Any move would take him from the NPFL to the Belgian top flight, but the reported discussions have yet to develop into a confirmed deal.
