Congo-Gabon left-back Philippe Ndinga of MLS side Philadelphia has emerged as a transfer target for Belgian club Zulte Waregem in the Jupiler Pro League. The 21-year-old, who is under contract in the United States until 30 June 2029, is being monitored as the Belgian outfit assess options to strengthen their defensive line.
Ndinga, born in Libreville in June 2005, joined Philadelphia in February 2026 and has been eased into the first-team picture during his first Major League Soccer campaign. He has featured intermittently in the league so far this season, starting in less than a fifth of Philadelphia’s matches and seeing limited overall minutes.
Zulte Waregem’s interest comes at a time when Ndinga is still establishing himself in North America and could be available for a fee around his current valuation of €1.2 million. Any move would require agreement with Philadelphia, who are protected by the long-term deal they handed the right-footed defender on his arrival at the club.
The left-back has also gained early experience of continental competition, making appearances for Philadelphia in the CONCACAF Champions Cup during the 2025-26 campaign. Those outings, combined with his age and contractual security, have drawn attention from Europe as clubs look for options who can adapt to a higher competitive level.
For now, Ndinga remains a Philadelphia player, tied to the MLS side for another three years, with Zulte Waregem exploring whether conditions are in place to turn their interest into a formal approach.
