16-year-old Burkinabè talent Ramanou to join FC Nordsjælland

Burkina Faso’s reputation as a producer of emerging football talent looks set to receive another boost, with highly rated teenager Adesina Hamed Ramanou on the verge of joining Danish club FC Nordsjælland.

The 16-year-old midfielder, who developed through the New Stars academy system, is reportedly close to completing a move to the Scandinavian side.

It is a club widely recognised for its commitment to nurturing young African players and helping them transition into European football.

The proposed transfer would mark a significant milestone in the youngster’s career and continue a growing trend of promising Burkinabè footballers securing opportunities abroad.

Ramanou has been identified as one of the brightest prospects to emerge from the New Stars academy in recent years.

Despite his age, he has earned praise for his technical ability, vision on the ball and maturity in midfield, qualities that have attracted attention beyond Burkina Faso’s borders.

His expected move to Denmark follows the recent departure of another academy product, Issouf Dabo, to Bayern FC, further highlighting the academy’s role in developing players capable of competing on larger stages.

The transfer is reportedly being facilitated by Burkinabè agent Hamed Touma, who announced the development through his Facebook page. T

ouma has built a reputation for helping young players from Burkina Faso access opportunities in Europe, and Ramanou’s proposed move is seen as another example of that growing pathway.

For FC Nordsjælland, the signing would fit neatly into a long-established recruitment model focused on youth development.

The Danish club has earned recognition for identifying talented young players, particularly from Africa, and providing them with an environment designed to support both their sporting and personal development.

The club’s philosophy centres on gradual progression, allowing young players time to adapt while preparing them for the demands of elite-level football.

Should the transfer be completed, Ramanou would also have the opportunity to reunite with fellow Burkinabè player Souleymane Alio, another product of the New Stars academy currently linked with the club’s development pathway.

The move is viewed as a potentially important step for both player and country.

For Ramanou, it offers the chance to continue his football education in one of Europe’s respected talent-development environments.

For Burkina Faso, it serves as further evidence of the country’s growing influence in producing players capable of attracting international attention at a young age.
