Algerian-French winger Zyed Beltaief has joined Italian side Dolomiti from SC Bastia B, making the move to Serie C Group A as he takes the next step in his senior career.
The 20-year-old right-sided attacker arrives in Italy after a productive spell in France’s fourth tier, where he featured for Bastia’s reserve side in National 2 Group D. The switch, completed on 21 July 2026, sees Beltaief leave French football for the first time.
Born in Paris in March 2006, Beltaief is primarily deployed as a right winger and has already accumulated a notable amount of senior game time for his age. Across his appearances in National 2, he has played regularly and contributed goals, with his most recent full season in Group D bringing eight goals and one assist in 38 matches.
Before joining Bastia B in October 2025, Beltaief had been without a club following his departure from AC Ajaccio’s reserve team. He progressed through Ajaccio’s youth structure from the under-17s to the under-19s and then into the B team, having previously come through Montfermeil’s youth ranks.
His experience also includes a brief taste of Ligue 2 action and outings in the Coupe de France and Coupe Gambardella, underlining his exposure to different levels of French competition despite his young age.
Beltaief now links up with Dolomiti ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, adding depth in wide attacking areas as the Serie C side reshape their squad.
