Viking forward Zlatko Tripic says he is being targeted after the controversial sending-off of Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise in a 3-3 Champions League draw.
“I’m being harassed because of Olise,” Tripic said.
Viking secured an unexpected point against Bayern Munich on 13 October in the opening round of the Champions League, despite the German side recovering from a two-goal deficit.
Viking led 2-0 during the match, before Bayern Munich fought back through two goals from Harry Kane and a goal by Luis Diaz.
The main controversy came in the 73rd minute. Olise had already been booked for a tactical foul when he threw the ball into the face of Croatian player Tripic.
The incident resulted in Olise receiving a second yellow card and being sent off.
Tripic made no secret of his satisfaction with the decision after the match. He has since complained that he is facing harassment because of the incident.
Tripic has played for his current club since 2021.
