The French Football Federation has formally announced the full coaching and medical structure that will work with France manager Zinedine Zidane, with the complete staff due to be presented at the start of September.
The final line-up includes several figures who worked alongside Zidane during his time in charge of Real Madrid, most notably assistant manager David Bettoni, assistant coach Hamidou Msaidie and strategy and performance adviser Gregory Dupont.
The French federation said the staff would also include a liaison officer. That position will be filled as part of a secondment agreement between the French Football Federation and the Ministry of the Interior, according to Foot Mercato.
Zidane will be supported by Bettoni as his assistant manager, while Msaidie will take up an additional assistant coaching role. Fabien Barthez, the former France goalkeeper, has been appointed goalkeeping coach.
Dupont will serve as a consultant working on strategy and performance. Stephane Blanc has been named technical observer, with Farid Tabet joining as an assistant coach and video data analyst. Clement Eibert will work as an assistant video analyst.

The medical department will be led by Dr Herve Collado. He will work with physiotherapists Maxime Maton, Paul Olive, Najib Remita and Pierre-Yves Freudivale.
Philippe Boixel has been appointed osteopath, while Marc Retali will be responsible for podiatry and foot-care services.

The federation’s announcement completes the structure around Zidane, whose backroom team contains a strong connection to his previous work at Real Madrid. Bettoni, Msaidie and Dupont were among the members of staff who previously worked with him at the Spanish club.
The French national team’s entire technical and medical staff will be officially introduced at the beginning of September.
