Femi Azeez has been recognised as one of the most influential players in the EFL Championship this season after producing a series of consistent performances for Millwall FC.
The 24-year-old winger played a central role in Millwall’s attacking efforts across the campaign, making 35 league appearances and contributing 11 goals alongside seven assists. His performances established him as one of the club’s key attacking outlets and highlighted his growing reputation within the division.

At the same time, he was dispossessed on 32 occasions, a figure that reflects the high-risk style he adopted while trying to break through opposition back lines.
While much of the focus has been on his attacking numbers, Azeez also impressed with his physical commitment and work rate. Throughout the campaign, he demonstrated an ability to contribute beyond the final third, combining energy and persistence with his technical qualities.
His performances have marked him out as one of the Championship’s standout attacking players this season and reinforced his importance to Millwall’s overall play. The combination of goals, assists and creativity ensured he remained a consistent influence across the league campaign.
Azeez’s ability to stretch defences, create scoring opportunities and maintain a regular attacking presence proved valuable for Millwall over the course of the season. His contribution in front of goal, together with his creativity from wide areas, helped establish him as one of the club’s most effective performers.
