Valencia have officially announced the signing of Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott on loan until the end of the 2026-27 season.
The agreement takes the 23-year-old to the Spanish club for the remainder of the campaign, bringing to a close his current spell with Liverpool and opening a new chapter in his career at Valencia.
Elliott joined Liverpool in 2019 after developing at Fulham, where he made his Premier League debut at the age of 16. He went on to establish himself within Liverpool’s first-team squad, making 149 official appearances for the Merseyside club.
During that time, Elliott collected a number of honours with Liverpool, including two league titles. His record of 149 competitive appearances reflects his involvement with the club since moving from Fulham as a teenager, while his new loan move provides the midfielder with an opportunity to continue his development at Valencia.
The transfer has now been formally confirmed by Valencia, with the loan running through to the end of the 2026-27 season. No permanent transfer has been announced as part of the agreement.
Elliott has also enjoyed success on the international stage with England’s youth teams. He has won the European Championship twice with England’s youth national team, and was named the tournament’s best player at the 2025 edition.
His achievements at youth level add to a career that has already included major domestic honours with Liverpool, despite his relatively young age. Elliott’s progression began at Fulham, where his early Premier League debut attracted attention before his move to Liverpool in 2019.
According to Transfermarkt, Elliott’s current market value is €20m.
Valencia’s announcement confirms that the midfielder will now continue his career in Spain on a deal lasting until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season. For Liverpool, the move temporarily takes a player with 149 official appearances for the club elsewhere, while Elliott will look to build on his experience with both Liverpool and England’s youth sides during his time at Valencia.
