Tottenham move ahead of Coventry in English Championship meeting

Tottenham are leading Coventry 2-1 in the final match of the seventh round of the English Championship, with the game having kicked off at 22:00 Moscow time.

The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when James Maddison found the net. Coventry responded shortly after half-time, with Jack Rudoni scoring after the ball deflected off the hand of Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.

Tottenham restored their advantage in the 58th minute. Following a cross-field ball from the flank, Omar Marmoush controlled possession on the edge of the penalty area before holding off a defender and finishing into the far corner.
