Three matches feature in Arthur Wandji’s football betting accumulator for 18 October, with the options focusing on corners, a Bryan Mbeumo goal and a goalless first half at San Siro.
Bayer Leverkusen v Fribourg 13:30 GMT
Betting option: Under 10.5 corners (odds: 1,53)
Bayer Leverkusen, with Christian Kofane, host Fribourg on 18 October in the sixth round of the Bundesliga.
The last three meetings between the sides have produced no more than seven corners, while Fribourg have also offered support for a low total. Fewer than 9.5 corners were taken in nine of their last 10 league matches.
Julian Schuster’s side will be seeking a sixth successive league game in which they score at least once, having recorded four wins and one draw in the competition this season. However, Fribourg will be without leading scorer Yuito Suzuki, who is suspended.
Bayer Leverkusen will also be missing their Cameroon striker. That could reduce the number of unstructured attacking surges and leave much of the contest concentrated in midfield.
Leeds v Manchester United 13:00 GMT
Betting option: Bryan Mbeumo to score (odds: 3,4)
Manchester United travel to Leeds hoping to respond to their 2-0 Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid.
Bryan Mbeumo is identified as Manchester United’s main attacking threat for a match in which they may need to break down a difficult opponent. He scored against Tottenham on 10 October and will again be expected to provide an important source of danger.
Leeds have defended particularly well before half-time, conceding only once in the first period of a Premier League match this season. Their opponents, however, have registered a competition-record 125 shots across six matches and are expected to apply sustained pressure.
With Daniel James and Joe Rodon unavailable for Leeds, Mbeumo’s pace and willingness to take the initiative could give him opportunities to find the net.
Milan v Atalanta 16:00 GMT
Betting option: 0-0 at half-time (odds: 3,28)
Under Ruben Amorim, AC Milan have shown considerable tactical discipline. Eight of their 11 goals have arrived late, between the 61st and 70th minutes, making a goalless opening 45 minutes the selected option against Atalanta.
Maurizio Sarri’s Atalanta arrive at San Siro weakened by the suspension of Eljif Elmas and injuries to Raoul Bellanova, Giorgio Scalvini and Giacomo Raspadori.
Gianluca Scamacca has recently scored, including against Pafos 3)1 in the Conference League, but Atalanta’s away form in Serie A remains a concern after two consecutive defeats. That record may encourage a cautious approach at the start.
AC Milan also have defensive absences, including Matteo Gabbia, and the hosts are expected to protect the centre of the pitch during the first half.
Odds can change.
