Steven Gerrard discusses Mohamed Salah’s departure from Liverpool

Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard has given his view on the club’s decision to part company with Mohamed Salah after the end of last season.

The Egypt international left Liverpool as a free agent following nine years with the club, having established himself as one of the team’s leading players during his time at Anfield.

In August, the 34-year-old signed a contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor.

Gerrard ended his own Liverpool career in 2015, when he moved to Los Angeles Galaxy.
