Stefano Pioli says Rafael Leao ‘dropped off’ after Milan’s 2022 Scudetto

Former Milan manager Stefano Pioli says Rafael Leao’s performances declined after the club won the Italian championship in 2022.

“After the Scudetto, Leao dropped off,” Pioli said, referring to the Portugal forward, with whom he secured the title during his time in charge of Milan.

Leao now plays for Galatasaray in the Turkish championship, while Pioli left Milan in 2024.
