Russian former footballer Dmitry Sennikov says Aleksei Batrakov has the potential to take the next step in his career and go further than fellow Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin.
Batrakov, 21, recently moved from Moscow-based Lokomotiv Moscow to Galatasaray for 25 million euros. He has signed a five-year contract with the Istanbul club.
The comparison between Batrakov, who now plays for Galatasaray, and Golovin, a Monaco midfielder, was discussed by Sennikov.
