Samsunspor weigh move for Dunkerque midfielder Antoine Sekongo

Malian-Ivorian midfielder Antoine Sekongo is being linked with a move from USL Dunkerque to Samsunspor. The 22-year-old central midfielder is currently with Dunkerque in France’s Ligue 2, while Samsunspor compete in Turkiye’s Super Lig.

Sekongo’s name has emerged in connection with a possible move on 2 August, although the transfer has not been confirmed. His market value is listed at €4m, giving an indication of the financial level surrounding a potential deal.

The proposed switch would take Sekongo from France’s second tier to Turkiye’s top division, with Samsunspor identified as the club pursuing the midfielder. No agreement, transfer fee or contract terms have been reported, and the move remains at the rumour stage.

Sekongo is still a Dunkerque player and remains part of the club’s Ligue 2 set-up. His age, position and dual Malian-Ivorian nationality are the established details behind the reported interest, while there is no confirmed indication that he has left the French club or accepted a move to Samsunspor.
