Samba Boye Coulibaly: Senegal defender joins Raufoss from Academy Mawade Wade

Senegal centre-back Samba Boye Coulibaly has joined Norwegian club Raufoss from Academy Mawade Wade.

The 18-year-old defender completed the move on 2 September 2026, beginning a new chapter with Raufoss in the OBOS-ligaen. Coulibaly’s arrival gives the club a young Senegalese player for its defensive ranks.

Coulibaly previously played for Academy Mawade Wade, a Senegal-based football academy. The move to Raufoss represents his first recorded switch away from the academy and takes him into Norwegian league football.

Raufoss compete in the OBOS-ligaen, Norway’s second tier, where Coulibaly will continue his development as a centre-back. His listed position places him at the heart of the defence, with the transfer giving him an opportunity to establish himself in a new footballing environment.

The move was completed on 2 September, with Coulibaly joining Raufoss from Academy Mawade Wade.
