Swiss-Tunisian striker Salah Aziz Binous has joined Greek side Panakrotiriakos on a free transfer from Italian club Caratese. The 25-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 after leaving the Serie C outfit at the end of last season.
Binous, who stands at 1.92m and favours his left foot, arrives with experience across Switzerland and Italy and will lead the line for his new club. His move to Caratese in August 2025 had also been on a free transfer, and he now switches countries again as he takes the next step in his career.
Born in Lugano, Binous holds both Swiss and Tunisian nationality and has featured in both senior and youth competitions. He has played in the Swiss Super League and Challenge League, as well as in Italy’s Serie D and Coppa Serie D, giving Panakrotiriakos a forward familiar with a range of competitive environments.
Across his senior career he has appeared in multiple divisions, including spells in the Swiss Promotion League and lower-tier Italian football, with his record including goals in league and cup competitions and a productive spell in the U18 Elite League earlier in his career.
Binous began his pathway in the Team Ticino youth set-up before progressing through FC Lugano and FC Luzern, and later representing SC Kriens, SC YF Juventus, AS Castello, Vogherese, SPAL, Chieri, Sant’Angelo and Caratese.
The move sees Binous link up with Panakrotiriakos with an agreed contract in place until the summer of 2027 following his free transfer from Caratese.
