Real Sociedad favourites to beat Levante in La Liga clash

Real Sociedad will host Levante in the Spanish league on 25 October 2026, with the Basque side regarded as the stronger of the two teams before kick-off.

Real Sociedad go into the match fifth in the table with 16 points. They are 11 points behind leaders Barcelona, but have recently strengthened their position with a convincing run of results.

In their most recent Spanish league fixture, Real Sociedad defeated Malaga 5-2. They also recorded an emphatic victory in the Europa League, beating Lillestrøm 6-0.

That form has made the San Sebastian side the pre-match favourites. Real Sociedad have won three of their past five matches, while their most recent meeting with Levante also ended in victory for the Basque club, who won 2-0.

Levante currently sit 13th in the Spanish league with 10 points. They are four points behind the teams occupying the top six places.

The visitors began their recent sequence with two successive draws. They drew 3-3 with Sevilla before sharing the points in a 1-1 match against Deportivo. Levante then responded with a 3-1 win over Athletic.

That victory means Levante have avoided defeat in their past three matches, although their position in the table remains below that of their next opponents.

The prediction is for Real Sociedad to win with a one-goal handicap. The expectation is that the home side will produce another positive result and claim all three points against Levante.
