Rio Ngumoha, the England and Nigeria winger at Liverpool, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old joined Liverpool’s senior squad after moving from Chelsea Youth to Liverpool Under-18s in September 2024, with Liverpool later promoting him to the first team. He signed for Liverpool’s senior side in July 2025 and remains under contract until 30 June 2028.
Ngumoha has made five Premier League appearances this season, alongside three Champions League appearances in which he has provided two assists. He also started Liverpool’s EFL Cup match, giving him nine senior appearances across the competitions listed.
The teenager’s current market valuation is €50m, a figure that underlines the scale of any potential deal involving the Spanish club. There has been no indication of a transfer fee or formal offer, and the available details do not suggest that negotiations have reached an advanced stage.
Ngumoha, who was born in London and plays primarily on the left wing, is yet to feature for England at the 2026 World Cup. His immediate position remains at Liverpool, where his contract runs through the end of the 2027-28 season.
