Raphinha reflects on difficult rise to Barcelona success

Barcelona forward Raphinha has spoken about the difficult journey that took him to the top of football, saying: “I saw people break, but I did not lose my way.”

The 29-year-old Brazilian did not reach the highest level immediately. He spent his childhood in conditions of extreme poverty before establishing himself among the leading players in the game.

Raphinha has been in impressive form for the Blaugrana this season. He has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 10 appearances for Barcelona.
