Raja Club Athletic introduce digital ticket system to combat fraud

Raja Club Athletic have unveiled a fully digital stadium entry system, marking a significant shift in how supporters access matches.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with public authorities, replaces traditional paper tickets with a secure, technology-driven solution.

How the New System Works

Under the new system, fans must use the club’s official mobile application to purchase and access tickets.

Supporters are required to:

  • Create a personal account
  • Purchase tickets directly through the app
  • Present the digital ticket for scanning at entry points

The club has confirmed that paper tickets, printed versions, screenshots, or any unofficial formats will no longer be accepted.

Season ticket holders remain the only exception, continuing to use their membership cards.

Stricter Stadium Access Rules

Raja have also introduced tighter entry regulations.

Every individual entering the stadium—including children—must possess a valid ticket or access card.

The club has further warned that loitering within or around the stadium without proper credentials will not be permitted.

Boosting Security and Traceability

A key feature of the new system is ticket traceability.

Each ticket is linked to a specific user account, making it non-transferable and preventing misuse.

This move is designed to eliminate:

  • Ticket fraud
  • Counterfeit duplication
  • Unauthorised resale

By tying tickets to verified identities, Raja aim to close loopholes long exploited in high-demand fixtures.

Crackdown on Black Market Activity

The reform directly targets the black market, where ticket manipulation and inflated resale prices have been persistent issues.

With digital verification in place, intermediaries will find it significantly harder to exploit demand.

Improved Matchday Experience

Beyond security, the system is expected to streamline stadium operations.

Raja anticipate:

  • Faster entry processes
  • Reduced congestion at gates
  • Better crowd management

These improvements aim to deliver a smoother and more organised experience for supporters.

Part of a Bigger Vision

The move reflects Raja’s broader ambition to modernise club operations and align with global best practices in sports event management.

It represents a long-term strategy focused on:

  • Enhancing fan experience
  • Increasing efficiency
  • Promoting transparency
