Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Raja Casablanca in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi.
The 27-year-old central midfielder left SD Huesca on 1 July, having joined the Spanish club from Croatian side Slaven Belupo in February for €150,000. He made 10 appearances in LaLiga2 during his spell at Huesca, playing 290 minutes.
Agbekpornu previously spent two seasons with Slaven Belupo, where he recorded 63 appearances in the Croatian top flight and contributed one goal and seven assists. He moved to the club from Albanian side KF Egnatia in July 2023 after helping Egnatia win the Albanian Cup in the 2022-23 season.
The Ghanaian began his senior career with Dreams FC before joining Egnatia in 2021. He has also played in Albania’s Kategoria Superiore, making 49 appearances in the competition.
Raja Casablanca’s reported interest comes while Agbekpornu is available without a club. No transfer fee or agreement has been established, and the proposed move remains at the rumour stage.
