Rafael Leao names Lamine Yamal as his Ballon d’Or choice

Galatasaray winger Rafael Leao has identified Barcelona midfielder Lamine Yamal as his choice to win the Ballon d’Or, describing the 19-year-old as “one of the best in the world”.

Leao was speaking about Yamal after Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Galatasaray in the second round of the Champions League league phase.

The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place in London, England, on Monday, 26 October.
