The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that newly appointed head coach Carlos Queiroz is expected to arrive in the country within days for his official unveiling.

According to the association’s Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, Queiroz’s arrival is imminent, with plans already in place for a formal introduction. Upon his arrival, the 73-year-old is expected to address the media and outline his plans for the team.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Asante Twum said the coach will present his vision, expectations and ambitions during a press conference, offering insight into how he intends to guide the Black Stars through the upcoming campaign.
Queiroz takes over from Otto Addo, who was dismissed in March after a series of underwhelming results in friendly matches against Austria and Germany. His appointment signals a change in direction for Ghana as the team seeks to improve its recent performances on the international stage.
The experienced coach brings a strong track record, having previously managed national teams including Egypt, Colombia and Oman. His extensive background in international football is widely viewed as a key factor in his selection, with the Ghana Football Association aiming to benefit from his experience at major tournaments.
