Burkina Faso centre-back Abdoul Fatha Tinde Teribe has joined Pyunik Yerevan from AEL Limassol on a free transfer, completing a move to Armenia’s Premier League.
The 19-year-old defender made the switch on 3 September 2026 after a brief spell with AEL, whom he joined in July following a period without a club. His move to Pyunik takes him from Cyprus to Armenia and represents his latest step in a career that has already included clubs in several European countries.
Teribe was born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, and stands at 1.98m. He is a right-footed centre-back, with his height and preferred position forming the main details of his playing profile as he begins his time in Yerevan.
Before moving to AEL, Teribe spent part of the 2025-26 season with AIK’s under-19 side. He joined the Swedish club from Acad. Basga Jo in August 2025, later leaving AIK in January 2026 before arriving at AEL several months later.
His move to Pyunik comes at the start of the 2026-27 campaign. The Armenian club’s domestic league is listed as the Premier League, while AEL compete in the Cyprus League, giving Teribe a change of footballing environment after his short stay in Limassol.
Teribe joins Pyunik without a transfer fee, with the agreement recorded as a free transfer. No contract expiry date has been announced for the Burkina Faso defender, who becomes part of the club’s squad after completing his move from AEL.
The transfer was completed on 3 September 2026.
